Little Ting Ting | Adison's 4 months!

I am almost sad ... I cannot believe Adison (AKA Little Ting Ting, a name Adi earned after something like 40 hours of natural childbirth - I think delirium had set in at that point, but the nickname has stuck!) is 4 months. Her momma, Sarah, is one of my best friends and I was lucky enough to do some fun maternity shots, the labor as well as newborn pictures of sweet Adison, and I am so sad this was my last session with her. Unless I can convince Sarah and James to come visit me in Colorado Springs, ha ha!

Meet Knolan James (He's 6 days old!) | Newborn

I was seriously in baby-cuteness-overload when I got to spend the afternoon with Knolan & Tasha's little man, baby Knolan James. He was only 6 days old when I met him, and he smelled better than sunshine! Knolan made his way into the world on June 16th, weighing in at 6 lb 10 oz, 19 inches tall - absolutely perfect!

His daddy is a big Chicago fan, so we definitely incorporated some Cubs stuff into baby Knolan's shoot. I always like to ask clients to bring stuff that is important to them - and they did! YAY!

Matthew, Jr. | Birth Photography

In late April, I did Savanna and Matt's maternity photos ... and Savanna was so excited to hear that I offer birth photography, she asked me to come to the hospital to capture the birth of Matthew, Jr.

So, on May 25th, I headed down to Trinity Hospital here in Minot around 7 in the morning and met up with Savanna and Matt and spent the next three hours with them as they welcomed Matthew into the world.

What an AMAZING experience. If you're a photog who follows this blog and have NOT done a birth session - try it once. Try it twice. It is the most AMAZING experience EVER.

A huuuuge thank you to Savanna + Matt for asking me to be there and allowing me complete access to their entire birth, it was an amazing experience that I will always treasure!

The Carpenter | Family

Before PCSing away from Minot to start their new adventure in Germany, Brian & Iris brought two month old Ethan over so we could have some family fun!

The Castro | Family

Back in February, I got to welcome home Maria's husband Jorge from his 6 month long deployment to Afghanistan ... and what a special time that was for everyone. I love doing homecomings for the military, it makes my heart swell with pride and patriotism.

I was super excited that Maria and Jorge asked me to do their family pictures here in studio after things had settled down from Jorge's return ... and here are a few sneak peeks!

You know what else makes me happy? The Castro's will be moving to Colorado Springs as well - YAY!
