An afternoon trip out to the country

My family and I decided to take a little trip out to the country this afternoon ... North Dakota is absolutely beautiful and provides the perfect backdrop for natural light photography, don't you think?

Here are some landscape shots I captured around Glenburn, the Upper Souris Wildlife Preserve and Lake Darling.

I found this beautiful little barn about 40 minutes away from where I live, up near the Canadian border. This shot was taken in August 2010.
