Amy & Eric Are Havin' a Baby! | Maternity

I was so excited to be asked to do Amy & Eric's maternity session. I had done their Christmas card pictures last year and we quickly became friends ... I even got to take the picture that Amy used to announce her pregnancy way back in January (it was just for fun, not an actual shoot). I seriously love these two, they are such a sweet and fun couple and will make excellent parents.

When we did the shoot, Baby Justice didn't have a name ... but now he does - Nicholas! And I loooove it. If Amy has her way, I'll be back in Minot in September to do Nick's birth and newborn pictures and I really hope we can make that happen. I am SO excited for him to make his arrival!

A Flyboy and his favorite Gal | Mark & Rebecca

Back in April, I was supposed to host a retro shoot at the air museum in North Dakota, but due a series of unfortunate events (which included me spraining my ankle in the worst possible way AND being diagnosed with mono - on the SAME day), I had to cancel the event. BUT - Rebecca & Mark were gracious enough to reschedule so we could make the retro shoot happen, and boy am I glad that we did!

We did this on a Saturday morning in June, and we were so lucky because the weather was great and the lighting was totally amazing - especially for a mid-morning North Dakotan summer day!

The Sparks Family | Maternity

Jackie & Dre are such a sweet, loving couple. Their daughters, Ava (2) and Alanah (6) are about to become big sisters to baby girl #3, who is due pretty soon! They are anxiously awaiting their little sisters' arrival and are "really, really excited!" - and so am I!

Fun with Isaac, Jenny & Hailey

Is that green grass I see? And trees? And NO SNOW??? Ahhh! It's the small things, right?

I was so excited to do Jenny, Isaac & Hailey's shoot because in between booking a family shoot and our scheduled time - it turned into an engagement shoot, too!!

Hailey is such a sweet little girl ... she sure loved her goldfish crackers!

Isaac and Jenny are such a fun couple, too. Lots of laughs and love and teasing between the two of them!
