Love Shouldn't Hurt

As most (but not all) of my fans know, I am a mother to four beautiful children, ranging in ages from 20 months to 8.5 years old. Children are God's greatest gifts in my eyes - and while mine may drive me nuts from time to time, I would do anything to protect them. Earlier this week, a local toddler was severely beaten by his mother and boyfriend - and he eventually succombed to his injuries and passed away on Valentine's day.

Upon hearing about this horrible tragedy, I felt sick to my stomach. I was outraged and devastated, and knew I had to do something to prevent this kind of thing from happening again. But what can one person do? We do what we're able to do - we help using our available resources and talents!

In that spirit, I would like to announce a very special event dedicated to the memory of Conrad Ayala. I am calling it the Love Shouldn't Hurt Children's Charity Photoshoot. I am hosting this event here at the studio on Sunday, February 27th.

The cost for you: 100% donation, whatever is in your heart and wallet to donate. ALL of the proceeds will be donated to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center here in Minot. If you would like to donate but NOT have pictures taken, monetary donations will be accepted through February 28th.

What do you get? Each of your children will have his or her picture taken and you will get the digital image file for each child, as well as a group sibling shot. Images will be edited and emailed to you within a week or so of the shoot.

These will be fun, simple portraits - meant to capture to joy and love of children. The backdrop will be a basic black.

Sessions will be booked in 15 minute increments, begininng at 9am and the last one at 11:45am. I have already started booking slots, please call me at (701) 200-2368 to book your time!

Thank you.

*** UPDATE: This event is now completely booked up (within an hour of me posting about it - WOW!), and I have started taking names down for a cancelation list. Thank you so much for everyone's willingness to participate and donate to such a wonderful organization.
